process and inspiration:
the transitions of the medium and the different states
it goes through in its existence thrills me most about
this process. From a mighty, giving, peaceful tree,
to a sheet of paper or cardboard that is easily shredded,
thin/fragile enough to be wripped apart;
changing to a wet and soft texture which after drying becomes
a very hardened, pointy, even stinging stone - like optic and haptic
is poetic in its genesis and lets me remember
and think more in depth about shapeshifting , what forms us all,
that change is the only constant and how a step can cause
a bigger transition than we anticipated.
